Westminster Woods is a Camp and Conference Center located near Meacham, Oregon — about 25 miles east of Pendleton and a similar distance west of La Grande — easily accessed from I-84 at exit 234. The camp sits adjacent to Emigrant Springs State Park, with state park lands bordering the property on several sides.
Westminster Woods is a place where people of all ages can get away from the distracting routines of life to focus on contemporary issues, nature, and spiritual growth. Our wish is to enrich lives through hospitality, reflection, and renewal — and our hope is that those who visit will leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
What We Offer
Facilities & Amenities
The camp’s 231 acres include heavily forested land, natural meadows, and several developed lawn areas — home to six main structures and a full range of outdoor facilities.
Kitchen & Dining Hall
Full kitchen with electric range, microwave, dishwasher, and indoor seating. Outdoor patio with propane griddle and pellet smoker. Seats 24 inside.
Chapel & Meeting Center
A beautiful facility ideal for worship, large group meetings, workshops, trainings, and weddings. Built in 2008 and designed for gatherings of all kinds.
Dormitory & Bunkhouse
Sleeps up to 20 guests in comfortable bunk-bed accommodations — ideal for youth groups, retreats, and multi-night stays.
RV Campsites
8 full-service RV sites with 50-amp service, level gravel pads, water, power, sewer, and a picnic area at each site.
Bathhouse & Office
Fully equipped bathhouse with showers, restrooms, and an on-site camp office — everything needed for a comfortable extended stay.
Outdoor Recreation
Despain Field for play and outdoor weddings, a sand volleyball court, miles of maintained trails, and access to adjacent Emigrant Springs State Park.

Westminster Woods is available for rent to nonprofit groups, as well as for family gatherings, business meetings, weddings, and other special events. All rentals are managed on a space-available basis — reach out early to secure your dates.

History
Walk in the Footsteps of Pioneers
The Westminster Woods property includes genuine Oregon Trail wagon ruts and a pioneer gravesite located in the southwest corner of the camp. These remarkable features connect visitors to the generations of settlers who traveled this very ground — making this a place where history isn’t just studied, but felt underfoot.
